    I dont even see how this would be a competition..

     

    TERA's fights overall look unquestionably more entertaining.

    Well there are fun fights in Aion. I have seen TERA boss fights and they look fun too. I think the newness of TERA is more fun. But there are fights in Aion were you have to move and still do your classes job too. Besides its a little unfair to even compare these games since the mechanics are different. Where is the both option?

    There is no such option when one of them sucks immensely (hint: Aion's)

     Speculation. If something sucks awfully and is the worst in the case, there is little chance something else will suck more than it. Also, some might have played it, FGTs, conventions, korean CBs..

    Aion doesn't suck, I just think TERA is miles better in every aspect

    I like the look of TERA's boss fights (and the combat in TERA in general), but it's impossible to really say one way or the other without playing the game.

    Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.

    I dunno, looks like some folks have played both somehow, so they might have an opinion.  I've done Aion's and will agree, they aren't anything all that great, but I'm not a fan of "Boss fights" in general, (more of an EVE/sandbox style player) so I might be jaded in making such a call.

    But until I get a chance to try Tera, I won't have an opinion.

    I prefer hack&slash combat system over 123456 key presses , i'll go with Tera anyday.

    Seeing the bosses in the low level instances gives you this epic feel even at the low levels. Can't compared to any other MMO.

    I was just about to post this. It just looks so awesome, and there's going to be plenty more challenging boss fights throughout the game.

    Can you really comment on something you haven't even experienced yet? Videos easily glorify anything and I think it's kinda unfair to compare the two. Not saying Aion's boss fights are exciting in the least bit. Just playing Devil's advocate..

    take a look, just a look, and tell me that's anything like Aions boss fights. In that video it's level 20, level 20 bosses in Aion are tank and spank.

     

    In Aion, as a Templar which I am, I stand there and tank the boss till it dies. Sometimes I run away from fear.

     

    Here we have complete fucking random and player skill involved, all about positioning and reflexes combined with awesome animations.

    It is epic, and one of the reasons TERA is poised to take my spot on my favorite MMORPG list. I just don't want to get burned like I normally do on over-hyped games.. You know?

    The fight looks great, it's nice to see MMO's making low level content challenging. I always thought that was a problem with level based MMO's, the beginning is made specifically to teach basics, and the endgame is often well done, however all the levels inbetween are just repitative. The more I learn about Tera the more I like it.

    I like TERA's boss fights, I got first hand experience back in April.

    Both of these bosses are encountered at low levels fyi.
