Yay free client....!  I downloaded it and it made super cool icons on my desktop.

I can even go into the login screen for free.  This is the best thing ever!

Hours of fun ahead with my new free client!

hm, that's a pretty silly post.

these guys are offering the client for free and you're being all sarcastic about it like they owe you more?

honestly, how many games, indie or not, offer their client for free? and how many games have a subscription price of 10$ per month?

and you know what, these guys actually deserve the money.

sure, you can't play the game with just the free client, but if you do want to play it you don't have to pay extra 20$-50$ to buy the client, just the sub price.

You can pay something like 3 euro's to trial the game for 4 days. Are you all such cheap skates you won't even take it up on that? What game's give you a free trial on the day of release?

Seriously people wake up and get back to reality, or are you all completely new to MMO's and the industry?

I created an account, loged in, went through the character creation, and the logged into the game. At that point I realised it was time to take the family to see Potter, so I logged out, wife naturally took another 20 minutes, so i tried to log in again out of curiosity, and no troubles.  By the time i had gotten home from the movies, it said my account had expired (or some such) .

So for me at least, it didn't work/last very long.

Solution:  Dont buy that large Coke and instead enjoy Perpetuum for 4 whole fucking days!

Quick response - I see no question.

It is in the subject line.

    -1 for observation skills.

I'm trying to see where i complained about it, or say that i didn't go totally crazy and purchase a months worth....

All i was stating was that the download "trial", only worked for a short time.

But thank you very much for your valuable input to this discussion....

I have at least six games on my PC right now that I'm not actively subscribed to because I just don't have the time to justify it. Give those games the Turbine-model treatment and you bet your arse I'd find myself playing again

    ^this

the 2-3 euro for a trial is more trouble than it's worth and disappointing from a indi game.... been burned so many times by half baked buggy launches by less risky "known" brands.

nearly every game on this website offers some form of try before you buy.  ill wait until this becomes one of them.

What are you on about. Perpetuum aint buggy, this is buggy...

Anyway, most p2p games on here have free trials because most p2p games on here have been out for over 6 months. Perpetuum is new, wait and they will eventually have free trials.
