All servers rolled back

in Everquest II
As far as I can tell this is the first time the servers have been rolled back, got home from work servers down. Okay..waiting. And still waiting new news is that characters have become corrupted and the only solution is a rollback. Still waiting now for something to happen..sigh back to dreaming of Beyonce. image

    Any idea why they were rolled back? No WoW posts on this please, just the facts Ma'am

    Many many people lost their entire quest logs, both active and completed quests.

    Along with that they lost all rewards associated with completing them quests, like recall spells and mastery spells.

    In essence they lost all character traits that you do not get autonatically when you lvl, I did not have time to see if my upgraded spells were lost to, not sure about that.

    I was kinda hoping for a no rollback and that they would just let it slide, being able to redo 300+ quests sounded like KACHING and DING DING DING to me :) I promptly ran around retaking all the REALLY good quests that had been wiped. Allthough I understood there would be only one solution and that be rollback, for all. Cause I also moved all my valuables to a non affected char of course, in case they roll backed me but not my friend. They of course to realised this but it was worth a shot.

    No doubt. This could be bad for them.


    Are they just being rolled back till this morning or farther than that? anyone have a clue?

    Rollback is for about 3 hours, after patch loads of characters were corrupted. Specifically all their quests both completed and current ones went missing. image
