a sticky worthy post that has all the useful links for new players. I'm suprised there wasn't one up. I am planning to start WoW to play with a friend, and I like to study a little before starting.

That is a good idea, but before any of that is done, I suggest you visit the *gasp*! official forums.

I know, I know! they are considered full of trolls and all that, and for some part it is true, but they also have stickies exactly like you need, especially in each class forum you will find guides and advices on that class specs etc.

Only thing is WoW is in the process of opening up a new community integrated web site like they dis for SC2 and I'm not sure if they are wiping the old forums, transferring the content or what. Anyway, the EU community site already has several stickies worth checking out, so I suggest you go there.
