Everquest 2 and its 20+ hr downtime

Well im a little peeved so far with this myself, apart from servers going down for 1 hour everyday for patching, and last weekend (sunday) when it went down for 6hrs with a 30-60 minute rollback, we have a downtime come up since they patched on friday at 3pm GMT servers were back up for 2.5hrs before being taken offline at 5:30-6pm friday, its now 3:30pm saturday and no sign of servers comming back up. Wonder if there will be lots of players jumping ship here after this, i know 5 of us who have already cancelled subscriptions so far, possibly lots more but the way things have gone down reminds me of alpha stages of game testing.
Wonder if i can return the game back to them for a refund as its less than 2 weeks old, i would then think about investing in a totally differant mmorpg that isnt run or touched by sony entertainment!
Advice dont go to play this for at least 6mths if at all with all its problems...

Well...
Such downtime would justify a lower monthlee fees to keep SoE working hard to maintain the server up at all the time...
But since SoE take all those decisions, dont even dare think about it.
20 hours is more then half what the average player play, so half a week free should apply IMO. (that is delaying by 4 days the charging fees)

they have stated they are going to reset debt and give some free playtime what more do yuo want? things happen thats life its not the end of the world. spend the time with your falmilys its the holiday season.

Lets review... $13 per month, one day out of 30 down so that is about $0.43 refund you expect ? since the stamp to mail the refund is about $0.37 and the envelope and handling charge would be $1.50 (those $1.00 envelope stuffing scam-jobs) do you just want SOE to add that now $1.40 debt/charge to next month's bill instead?
Does the EULA really in print guarentee servers will be up and accessable 24/7 in EQ2 ?
btw, Sony (ie. SOE) a Japaneese company, do they even have an asian server for EQ (promised two years ago,) or EQ2, or do they only play Lineage & Ragnarok over there?
