So.. Among many other people I really got into Minecraft, but I prefer the creative part much more than the survival part. I find it very relaxing to play, and it's nice to have an alternative to all the action games I play (MMOs and FPSs). But I also miss MMOs when playing Minecraft, and would like to know if there's an MMO out there where I can be just as creative or don't have too much focus on combat? Something just to chill with?
Any suggestions are very welcome

Wurm Online would be perfect for you, all player built and player ran villages, make your own tools etc and live off the land, no need for any combat if you dont wish to, many skills in just about every aspect you could think of,

I second Wurm, and fyi, it was originally made by the same dude that made Minecraft (Markus 'Notch' Persson). He no longer works on it, but you can see his influence on it.

Give Haven&Hearth a try, its alot like wurm just not so complex, imo i think haven and hearth has alot more to do in it though
though theyre both excellent games
Yes I have a dream And its not some MLK dream for equality. I wanna own a decommissioned lighthouse And I wanna live at the top And nobody knows I live there. And theres a button that I can press, and launch that lighthouse into space.
since you guys are talking about Wurn and Haven and Hearth
i just have 1 question
how alive is both of the game right now? both game interests me so much as for now
but i just love a populated game where chat is alive and not dead like most F2Ps
so i need to know how good the pop are in this 2 game
thanks!
So What Now?
well I cant tell you much about wurms pop, but haven and hearth only has about 300 on at a time, though they have an irc capable client which always has tons of ppl online, the only problem is that if you dont make a post that your looking for villagers or neighbors you probably wont see many ppl around

To answer that question about Wurm, the PvP server has about 150+ people on at one time, but the Jenn-Kellon kingdom has about 80% of that population and is steamrolling the others. The PvE server recently brought in all the people on the infinite free trial server Golden Valley, and now sees 500+ concurrent users at a time, but is seeing issues with stability because of it. About 200 of those 500 are premium players though, the rest are the freebies and some extra accounts used to duel-client and get extra work done.
Also, sometime in the next 3-6 months they will release the Epic server, which is another PvP ruleset, but supposedly you can start your own kingdoms (rumor) and there will be major goals, in a server-wide quest sense, and natural disasters that will change the landscape. That will probably move a lot of people from Wild (PvP) and Freedom (PvE) to it, and hopefully balance out the issue with imbalance seen with the original 3 kingdoms on the PvP server.
