Im currently in beta and have a level 27 Ice Tank that wields a single sword/axe...whatever.

Graphics - They are really good.  Not groundbreaking, but they make the world come alive while still allowing a modest computer to be able to handle them.  The detail for each costume piece is really good.

 

Story/Quests - Im putting these together because they are one in the same.  When you begin a new questline, it puts you on a piece by piece story arc where each mission completed gets you closer to the end of that storyline.  The last quest finishes the story off with you going into a solo instance/dungeon type area and taking out a super-villain/hero depending on what side you're on.  Anyone from Batgirl to Poison Ivy, Robin to Grod....all the instances are fun and most of the boss fights are pretty challenging.  When taking care of the boss, you'll get a short animated clip where the villain/hero will let you know where their coming from...all of these clips are awesome and really pull you in.  Ive never really read comics, but always been a fan of pop super heroes....being able to see and learn about some of the less popular ones is pretty cool.

On top of this, there are Alerts, which also tell a story and have a clip at the end.  These are done as a group and are also fairly challenging (unless you can turn into Ice Golem then everything is easy for about 20 seconds :P)

Each of these quests, alerts also gives you awesome gear.

 

Combat - alot of fun, and please dont listen to those that say its alot like CO because it doesnt come close.  I played CO beta and subbed and the combat in that game is only about half as good as the Combat in DCUO.  BUT MAKE SURE YOU USE A GAME CONTROLLER!  Much easier and much more fun.  Basically, you'll have combos that are done by hitting X so many times then holding Square or holding square.  These are your melee combos if you will.  On top of that you have a set of skills you can layout on your screen...I think 6 or 7 max so choose wisely.  These will include buffs, magic attacks, mezzes, roots and things of that nature.  Its all fast and furious and very immersive

 

Content amount - I havent reached endgame so I cant comment on that, but there are raids setup and see people trying to get groups together everyday to do them.  As for leveling up, I never hit a gap in quests and Im level 27 going on 28 fast.  Ill hit endgame in 2 more levels pretty much, so I doubt there will be any gaps because my questlog is filled with wanted quests and storyline quests.

 

The World - huge and amazing.  Alive and lifelike....need I say more?

 

Overall the game is awesome.  It has its problems...it might be a little linear for some peoples tastes, but the devs have done an excellent job masking it, which makes it feel as though it's not linear at all.  there are still some bugs to be worked out with costumes and the like.  I think there should be more options when creating your character, not so much costume options but more facial and body options.  Im hoping there is plenty of content at endgame as well...but other than those concerns, Im having a blast and I think the game will be a big hit with those that are looking for an MMO that still has many of the same qualities of most mmo's, but faster combat and few other tweaks here and there.  If you are a superhero enthusiast like myself, you will probably love the game, much like I do.
