Have to say parts of the first one were not that good either. Still in memory of my childhood i hope he gets this one right and doesant have too much of the flag waving rubbish in it.

That trailer actually looks promising! Someone maybe have bitchslapped Bay for hours after the second one, making him get his shit togeather. And Spielberg have been keeping an eye on every movie so far....so there should be no excuses..he know how to tell a story!

Hmmm I don't remember much flag waving in the first two movies.  It's mostly the US military getting its salad tossed by the decepticons.  I guess for a liberal any portrayal of the military that doesn't make them look like rapists and wife beaters is considered "flag waving".
