In fact they stated they want to expand the game to the west but they don't know when they will. This is a quote from a XLGames representative:

But because we have limited resources we are not able to pay much attention to [other places] at the moment. This will improve as time passes but it is going to take some time.
It seems the Korean open Beta will occur in November 2011. So I don't expect this game hit the western market before Q4 2012

i'm sure when this game reaches the west most of the sandbox elements will be replaced with on rails quest grinding.
the features in this game just highlight what western mmo's are doing wrong. i hope archeage is a success and that it changes the genre in the west.

The only reason I don't want a subforum here is to prevent trolls from trashing on the last utopia on the proverbial MMO-land
funny the game is built to be an utopia/land of dreams and gods (google translate is a bit weird at times :P)
