3D Space Travel + PvP Fighting + Trade (P2P/F2P)

Hi,

       I am looking to play an MMO as described in the title of this thread. Eve comes to mind but I've heard their battle system is boring. I thought I'd like a fighting system similar to that of of Black Prophecies; but I've tried playing Vendetta Online which has a similar system but found it rather awkward. So I'm thinking something like a top down - strategy game style control of the ship would be awesome with PvP and trading, big space, and most important of all would be 3D movement. Unrealistic 2D movement feels outdated so I'd like to avoid that.

Can be F2P or P2P.

Anyone have any suggestions?

    Id go with eve just give it a go its what your looking for and it has tons of content avaliable

    Eve is really your only option right now if you didn't like Vendetta Online. 

    Eve's battle system can be boring, but it can also be super exciting. It just depends on where and under what circumstances you fight. Hint - low and null sec combat is borrrrrinngggg as fuck. Fight in high sec or wormholes.

    What makes no sense to me is that you want a "top down" view with "3d movement"... Do you just mean 3rd person view instead of from the cockpit? Because top-down isometric viewpoints and a Z axis of movement doesn't mix.

    Battlestar Galacita Online. I been in the beta for a while it is fun and amazing. I would look into that

    SWG.  You have no idea how much it pains me to even mention it after the CU...  but it's got everything you're looking for. Space and ground based PvP.  Best crafting system in any MMO (at least it did 5 years ago...) I think more people would still be playing it were it not for the intense feelings of personal betrayal.
