So people, cata?

Well cata is out for a few days now! So i am just curious!

How is the game? I have a lvl 50 warlock for the moment so i dont want to hear all the stories about endgame!

But how is it for casual players? Are there a lot of new things in Azeroth?

What do you like, dislike?

A lot of questions i know, so let yourself go :D

    Whelp,

A LOT of our guild is hitting 85 with their upper level toons.  They are forming up their Raid groups and a lot of them are jumping through the instances.  WoW can't completely change their make up but most of the quests have been shortened down to be completed in a 30 minute play session.

An example,  STV had the Raptor/Tiger/Panther killing set.  You kill X and then have to run back turn in to pick up the next one.  Blizz shortened that badboy down by making an icon appear on your quest list that you click complete and accept the next one and keep going.  No having to run all the way back.  Another example in STV is for the water elementals where you now have an orb to contact the quest giver and continue the mission.

I speak of these specifically because when Cata released, rather than running my end-game toons, I started a worgen.  I have played through all of the need Darkshore region, part of the Ashenvale region, STV, Duskwood.  I like it.  They've tweaked quests I didn't care for and made some of them far less painful.  Also, seeing a LOT of quest givers dead or having moved on from their original quests made me laugh.

I like it.  It's still WoW so if you didn't like it before, you probably won't now.  People are STILL focused on gear too much but the rewards are still interesting.  Each time someone finds something new in the guild it sparks a whole new convo.  Even the gray useless items have some funny one liners of fluff that stir conversation.
