For those of you who are smart enough, see you in the open beta.
Open Beta Test Schedule
- The test will begin at 6:00 AM on January 11, 2011
Download the Client
- The client will be available to download on December 27, 2010
Pre-Selection Service
- On December 30th, players will be able to login, choose a server and create a character. From the website, they can also join guilds and add friends. The start time of this phase is subject to change.

Interesting! This puts the K release at or near the beginning of Febuary, making it for a possible Q2 Na release time table!! Lets say... at the end of May. XD

How can i sign up for the Korean Beta?
You got to know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody....basically the average person can't.
I'm not really sure how "smart" it would be to forge a KSSN for this one with the amount of people that will be doing it. At some point the Korean goverment is going to step in and have the US issue that 30k fine.
cool nice to know that this game is somewhat on the horizon, but personally i'll wait for NA open beta (if there is one) or just for release. I'm still skeptical about anything that comes out of korea, just been burned way to many times. I still wish I could get back all the hours played in lineage 2, damn what a time sink.
Well the thing is if you made a Hangame account before they even started doing the Kssn thing. Then you should be able to play the OB for as long as it runs. Your just not going to be able to sub the account without a Kssn when it goes live.

lol paranoid people like yourself make me laugh. You got about as much chance the goverment coming in and charging for you downloading that 1 song, it just doesn't happen.
You also need to use a Korean IP address when creating the account. Otherwise they can delete your account a couple hours after you create it.
Right... except Negot never bothered using a proxy at all, and streams fine during the tests. Enough of this hufflepuff please. Mine's still open, and shall remain that way during the course of Beta.

Yeah there were way too many posts on people asking how to get into beta and all that stuff. If people are patient and if there are no restrictions, you may be able to get in TERA Japan which opens up before the NA/EU release and it should be some time during the summer (maybe even a little earlier). I might get the client just to figure out how my 2 main characters will look like (which will take hours) and maybe, just maybe try each class to level 5 since my Japanese is pretty limited, I don’t think I would go any further.
By the way I am glad you guys had fun during the beta and gave mostly positive feedback as well as videos for TERA. It looks like a very promising game and to those that are in the Korean retail, have fun! =o)
Hangame Japan don't need an ID and sms to create an active account and is very easy to make one, however i guess they will use the IP block to restrict the game for japanese people only.
Just my suspect, hope i'm wrong for people who want so bad try the game before our late summer release.
Oh thanks for the heads up KDChan that is good to know. Hopefully that is not the case if not I will be very angry! GRRRrrr see I am angry.
The Korean SSN is the most annoying thing when trying to play foreign MMORPGs. Long ago I tried playing a Korean version of another game, but the SSN got me. Luckily, the Japanese version doesn't need an SSN. Every letter in the game will be squares and strange symbols though. :P
