I tell you what. I cant wait for WoT and Shogun 2's clan wars. Their both going to be EPIC games.

The 116th is very well organized to deploy strongly into the clan wars on both games. And the people within the 116th make joining up one of the best decisions ive made in my gaming career!

  • EberbachEberbach Member Posts: 77

We are sending two full teams ot the upcoming Ural Steel tournament. Should be a great time for one and all and serve as a valuable training tool for clan wars. S!

  • EberbachEberbach Member Posts: 77

Our two full teams for Ural Steel are now submitted. We wish all tournament teams good luck!

Before joining a clan, ask yourself if you think that clan will be around in 5 or 10 years?

The 116th is designed for long term stability and growth. We have a very competent leadership team in WoT on both the US and EU servers. Most of the leadership has WoT battle-league experience and military backgrounds.... many of whom which are former tankers or cav scouts. In fact, one of our members was an tank instructor at Fort Hood.

Our focus is on the person and their values. We can always train skills but its hard to change someone with a poor personality.

In the end we realize that the wargames we deploy in eventually die, but the wargamer in us never does.

If you are a mature, friendly, and teamwork oriented tanker then we may just be your home away from home for many years to come.

  • EberbachEberbach Member Posts: 77

One advantage of joining the 116th is we are members from around the world. It means in clan battles we can fight 24/7 around the planet. Our primary forces are in The Americas and Western Europe with an ever growing contingent in Australia and New Zealand.

Your first step to joining The 116th is to submit an application at our website: www.116htPanzer.com

After your application is accepted you are welcome to join us on either are US or EU server clans.

    Thats right trooper!

we do play Shogun 2, and great news there was finally an update to fix the MP bugs

Updates to Total War: SHOGUN 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

    Total War: SHOGUN 2

Multiplayer - Fixed a bug whereby winning a match made battle via the opponent conceding defeat did not register a win statistic or count towards the match made battle victory achievement.

Multiplayer - Fixed a bug that would see The Dishonourable Coward trait from being incorrectly awarded to players. The trait has also been reset for the entire player base.

Multiplayer - Fixed a bug that would see avatar costs incorrectly deducted from funds for a naval battle.

Multiplayer - Fixed instances where players were unable to fully upgrade their General’s Avatar skills.

Great Job 116th EU team on their Win in their Second Ural Steel match!

We wish the US 116th team the same fortune tonight.

We welcome tankers to apply now and start preparing for the next tournament after Ural Steel and Clan Wars.

At the 116th we pride ourselves on Teamwork.

My skills as a tanker in game are average, however due to the 116th focuses on teamwork we really shine on the battlefield as a team.

For example, right now I am number 75 on the EU server and number 3 and 4 in terms of Average Experience and Win Ratio, respectively, as the following two images reflect.

The only way I climbed so high on the charts was by working with fellow members, many of whom are much more skilled as players than me.

If you are considering joining The 116th and are dedicated to training and teamwork then expect similar results!

    Cheers,

    Waff

Happy Easter from the 116th! I'm relatively new to this clan, but the teamwork and clan infrastructure you'll fin here are second to none. So, whether you're a casual gamer, or a hardcore competitive wargamer, check us out. You'll find a lot of people, even the newer ones, put a lot of stock in teamwork and creating a friendly atmosphere!

Apperntly you have a limited understanding of World of Tanks, The 116th, and a lack of a sense of humor. Seemingly, you read the headliner and make a knee jerk reaction which is out of context of the game, the division, and the spirit of the recruiting thread.

If your interest is to start a flame war, well we have no interest as there is no relevance to your post in regards to the scope of what we do.

    Cheers,

Perhaps, I don't know anything about that division.  If there was some humor I did indeed miss it and aologize.  I do not intend to start a flame war.

I'd like to take a minute to say what a great clan this is for anyone who's looking for a professional, dedicated approach to enjoying war games. The 116th Panzer Division is active across the globe, and I've had a great time both playing with and interacting with players from all over the world. The 116th has definitely improved my gaming experience, and I look forward to a long, beneficial relationship with them. Hope to see everyone around some time!
