Since there is no more NDA, i would like to share some screenshots. I often hear that RIFT looks below average and graphics are not impressive. I would let everyone decide for themselves. I also have a video that i will upload to youtube in couple of days, because screenshots don't do justice to this game.
Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

The game looks gorgeous. I have my own batch of screenshots which i will post soon. if these are average graphics i don't know what good graphics look like.

Beautiful scenes. I love the look and feel of the game from the screen shots you put up. Can't wait to play it.
Nice screenies. I personally preferred the Guardian side to Defiant becouse of the more vibrant colours. Defiant was meant to be a bit mean and moody.
Looks pretty nice. Reminds me of LotRO in the art style a bit but with better character models.
The original screenshots remind me of fat girl angle shots. You pick specific angles that look incredibly good but aren't really the norm of the person/game.
The 2nd posted screenshot looks more like the game in my opinion. The way the stairs look kinda sums up the graphics of the game.
Granted it is pretty bug free and polished, the graphics look that of any other vanilla mmo, warhammer online, dark age of camelot, or whatever.
Not horrible, but in no way anything new!

First of all OP is trying to focus on surroundings and not the character itself. He also posted front of the dwarf and back but if you just want to see up close of characters that can be arranged too. But i am sure you will complain anyways. The screenshot posted by other guy is not even on full ultra quality.
And i have no idea how the other screenshot is more in game but all the one posted by OP are not ? lol... woooshhhh!!

1 more from the Dev event on Sunday. Gnarladon, 549k HP giant tree. And yes, I was running it on High for now until it is optimizied. i7 920, eVga 480 SSC, 12 GB DDR3 ram, OCZ 60GB SSD.
Ugh, not gonna lie, I hate that busy screen.
First one is from the 1st phase.
That's what happens when 50+ players are trying to take down 1 mob. It's part of the game so I wanted to show what it was like.
I'm sure you are right, and there is probably no way around it. That is just one of my personal pet peaves.
Looks like alot of fun. I am guessing the Icon with the 50 plus icons must be the boss. How can you tell what level they are or how many hit points they have or weather they are aggressive to you or friendly or neutral? What can you tell us about some of the AI abilities the bosses and other mobs used against you?
He used a spell that turned you into an animal at one point. I came upon him later one as I could see the effects going off in the distance and ran in. The animal spell was like him casting "fear" as you couldn't do anything. The pathing for him was good he ran all over the place. Cursor over the health bar showed the HP.
The big tree was like "Hey there, sexy pink tree! Do you come here often?" And we were like "WTF? Kill it!"
The UI is customizable, things can be moved, rearranged, and resized (similar to lotro). The entire interface is also scaleable.
There is absolutely a way around it. You just don't like how this particular player has their screen arranged but that is up to the individual.
I have to say that having good UI customization like EQ2, or as you said, LoTRO, was a happy surprise for ME. I usually hate the default game UIs and HAVE to tweak them. It makes me MUCH happier for it to be like EQ2 and not require a mod to move things around than for something to be like WoW and essentially TRAP you into someone else's idea of a good UI or require mods to get things the way you want them.
This was one of my pleasant surprises.
Am I the only person that was reminded of Chronicles of Spellborn by RIFT? I can't pinpoint WHY exactly, but the game just had that same "feel" to it for me. This wasn't a bad thing, just for me....it felt more like CoS than what people are saying about Vanguard or WAR or WoW. /shrug

Beautiful screens Goggy. Game really comes alive at ultra settings. Your screenshots are even better than mine.
No you are not the only one
