Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

To put it in a nutshell, our society is about to hit the fan, grades are dropping, obesity is going up,childhood the USA is going to lose its super power status before too long, but hey, as long as we have a cheap method to babysit our kids, all will be well no?
Im picking on WoW btw because its the beast that made all of this possible

    Doesnt really reflect the actual feel of the game very well though. I noticed in many of the shots, all mobs and npcs were removed, which originally its pretty cluttered. The scale for the world is pretty small, makes it feel unpopulated as well.

    that video looked pretty good to me. IS there a way to get into the beta? I thought I signed up for it but nothing in my email box.

    Try to get a VIP code. They give them out on websites sometimes, and every now and then on the official forum. Getting one will let you get into all beta events.

    Make up your mind man. Npc and mobs is removed so world feels un populated, if there are mobs everywhere world feels cluttered. Decide first what you want.

    One was directed at the video, the other was directed at the game itself. What do you have trouble understanding.

    Scale and size dont change, even if you clutter it with enemies. Its not a contradiction if you tried to think about it. Take a small glass, you know its small...and fill it up with a liquid. Ok, now you have a small glass thats filled to the top with liquid. Does anything really change in terms of volume and size? no.

    In rift, when you encounter your faction city... you find a few buildings and about 20 npcs just standing around. Say you are told to go to a village...its one building with 3 npcs surrounded by a dumb number of enemies who just stand there. Again, underpopulated and cluttered. Do you see how this is possible? If not I dont know what else to tell you.

    I am not expecting everyone to agree with me, there are fanboys out there after all.

    See what I did there?

    If people don't agree with you, doesn't make them automatically fanbois - or haters or trolls-, as if only you have seen the light and ultimate truth. It's just your opinion, not a fixed truth making all other differing opinions worthless and untrue. There's a very basic difference between them, you should learn to comprehend that.

    And i don't expect everyone to agree  that Rifts world is not cluttered. Devs increased spawn rates of everything during the first two betas so it may feel that way but compared to dead and empty worlds like FFXIV it was a breath of fresh world. Also, having a huge world is pointless because the zones are designed around rifts. is the world huge? nope but is it as small as players make it out to be? nope.

    But like i said i don't expect everyone to agree with me, there are haters out there after all. See what i did there? next time if you want to discuss make sure not to throw 'fanboys' excuse in. Discuss the game not the gamers, no need for insults.

    @Paradoxy

    Thanks, the video looks great!!
