Don't quote me but I am pretty sure it will be a 14.99 / month sub fee from what I read.  I play it on PC w/o a controller and actually do better then most people around me / in my team.. some swear by controller. I don't have access to the ps3 beta so I don't know which is better...   I was kind of undecided but after a recent HUGE patch that fixed alot of stuff I went ahead and pre ordered it :) Hope that helps

I've played it on both the PS3 and PC and like it on both.  I will be getting the PS3 version to play with a few of my friends who don't have good computers but play PS3.

Im in pc beta and I would def buy this for ps3. It's really more of a console rpg than pc. Seems like it was formated for pc as an afterthought.  It's a fun game but go ps3 all the way.

hook a gamepad up to your pc.  The game looks a million times better on the PC, plus the community isn't (as) full of mouthbreathers and little kids.

I wouldn't say a million times better.  It all depends on how you are playing it on PC and PS3.  Yes tv's and video cards make a difference.  I'm playing it on both and don't see a "million times better on the PC".

Amen to that. I played on my bro's PC. I didn't have any lag problems, but thats because I had to lower his settings a lot.

I know without a doubt that it's going to be better on my HDTV with the PS3. Relativity!

It'd probably look damn spiffy on my HDTV connected to my laptop, but you still win since I had to spend $1150 to get a pretty decent laptop.

I have both Betas and i hooked the PS3 to my second monitor and the PC still looks aton better then PS3.

but if you dont have a good computer i would agree PS3 all the way . If your PC can play it at full graphics PC is the best choose.

If both look the same then look at where you want to sit . In a computer chair or a sofa.

Xbox 360 controller works well . for wireless get the USB reciever.

$14.99 per month for pc and they'll have other payment options as well, ps3 idk about, their plans are different for standard ps3 users and ps3 plus members, but it all comes down to wherever your rl friends go you should join them, it's always funner to play with friends you know.

I am playing beta on the PS3 and PC. If you have a PC similar or better then mine, its PC all the way in my opinion. I am running it on highest settings using a Nvidia GTX 460 with just a AMD 5200+ duel core and 3 gig ram makes it look and perform better then the PS3. And by no means its because of the display I am using. The PS3 is on a 42" 1080P HDTV while my PC is on a 22" HDMI flat screen.

Control wise, if you are use to playing MMORPGs on a PC you shouldnt have any issue adopting to the PC control system. There is just no UI customization because the software has to be compatible with the PS3 since both systems will be sharing the same servers. But if you like game pads, use a 360 controller. I know there is some third party software out there that allows you to use a PS3 controller on a PC, but I havent heard of anyone using it on a PC with DC Universe.

I read an article from February of 2009 saying that they are interested in cross-platform servers, but as of right now, the servers are separated, with no plans to integrate from what I've heard. Have you seen something new? ...Or could you be assuming?

There is an article from sept. (2009) that I just found that claims cross-platform playability..but it also claims that there is no subscription fee lol.

I'm pretty sure the lack of UI mouse support on PCs is just piss poor porting.  The PS3 and PC servers aren't integrated.

It always amazes me how undercooked the UIs are on these new games.  You'd think it would be a primary focus in MMO development.

The game does feel much better w/ a controller, even on the PC.  And I'd highly recommend not using a mouse for various control/targeting reasons, but thats just my personal experience.  W/ that in mind, the poor porting w/ keyboard/mouse controls isn't a terrible concern as long as you have a controller available.

But to further expand on my previous post.  If you have a gaming computer, then get it for the PC.  If your computer can't run the game at the highest settings, then you might as well get the PS3 and play it from a bigscreen TV.

From my experience, the PS3 graphics are washed out and suffer from a lack of (or poor) anti-aliasing... which is especially noticable in the UI.  The game has more bugs, and performance occasionally suffers when lots of stuff is happening.  The PC looks much crisper and performs better.
