Since there's no thread for this game, I figured I'd post a thread here. From what I can tell, it looks to be an Ultima like game with the same skill system, but players can make realms and put them in the world. Looks interesting, but it's in closed beta atm. What's everyone's impressions?

I think there are one or two posts about Linkrealms in this forum somewhere but one more can't hurt
It's a good game, indie and still beta.
I got a realm for myself and the dungeons are fun to run through. Community is realy nice.
If you don't need high end graphics it's definitely worth trying.
You can easily get a key if you post in the right thread on the official forum.
//EDIT
I think many people just don't know where to show their interest in this game to get a key from the devs.
Just read the first post in the following link and reply, maybe you will get a key

I read a post just like this one and looked into this game probably two years ago. And it was in the same status then as it is now.
When it's about ready to release, by all means let us know. But until then what's the point?
I just figured out about the game not too long ago. And by the patch notes, it's getting updated frequently, so I can't see how you think it's in the same status, unless you mean closed beta. But just posting on there forums enters you for a chance to get into the beta, and they're sending out invites often now.

I got into beta a few years ago. Pretty sweet little isometric view mmo. Both simple and complex. Skill based. Really fun for the month or so I messed with it. I imagine I could go back to it since I had a key on account . I just got caught up with other stuff that came out . Only thing I didn't care for was the patchwork style realms. Squares of property that can be customized by different players. Just wish it had a more of a world geographic/topographic feel and not a patch-work grid. Still...I think many would enjoy this game. I remeber having to go to the website and apply whenever it said thaey would take applications. Very sporadic as I recall. I just lucked out.
Sorry Aly, I was just feeling bitchy. Of course you're welcome to talk about it. I think my frustration is only with the glacial pace of development.
