Which is horribly unfortunate, since what FF14 really needs is a BASELINE/UNIFORM system. I was in closed beta on my laptop. Squeenix broke something, however, in OB, coz I was never able to log onto the game since then, on this particular laptop. However, I CAN log in over on my ex-wife's pute lol. Customer Service insist it is my machine. Whoever is right, the fact remains that Squeenix made some HORRID design decisions as far as the whole log-on process is concerned. The game also tends to break most machines a la Crysis. The PS3 is an incredible piece of hardware. Just because FF11 with a PS2 baseline is an eyesore and lead weight round the PC version's neck does NOT mean that a PS3 baseline for 14 would be the same.
Get a SMOOTH RUNNING game (talking about the horrible FPS rate) out there, which people can ALL log-on to without freezing at the name/password window because of some inane IE interface... and people might actually start subbing to the game in larger numbers.
I.ACTUALLY.LIKED.THE.GAME. I would very much like to be able to play it again on my OWN console, not me EX'S.

Wow way to go off topic
1.) Would you mind telling us why you couldnt login on your computer
2.)What the hell is a baseline/uniform system
3.)Ohh I seee in the second paragraph you say somthing about a smooth running game, are you implying you're running some POS windows 98 crap that can't even play mindsweeper?
4.)Aha, I guess that means you're ex-wifes machine is better than yours.
5.)Wait... Did you get a divorce after you found out your computer couldnt play FFXIV or did you acctually call her and say "Hey it's been a long time... Can I try to play FFXIV at your house?"

It's delayed indefinitely on the PS3 until further notice.
He who keeps his cool best wins.
