WOW: Cataclysm is a great game. I had a blast gearing my mage through heroics despite the fact I was receiving a 36+ minute queues, which is clearly Blizzard's fail for making rest of the class roles less appealing to the public.
Now that I'm done with heroics, I found myself having way too much time doing nothing useful in the game toward my character and the only things left to be done was repetitive daily grind and archeology, which is probably the most boring thing invented since the release of WOW.
That being said I have to find a new home, a new bread of entertainment, either a MMO or a single player where at least I'll have things to do for longer period of time that is entertaining in a way. I need some variety and excitement. I need adventure and immersion. If it's a MMORPG I want to have more freedom in my character development as well as more impact to the world I participate in.
Hail SWG-Pre CU and Ultima Online (without Trammel and 3rd party programs that ruined PvP). For now less WOW and more girls if the community or developers fail to attract me with a mature MMORPG. And when it comes to WOW, I can just youtube the epic boss encounters and they are already in my mind. Killing them over and over it's just not worth the $15, not when everything else is just pure boredom for me.
I cant imagine how someone could only pve seriously in wow and most other mmorpgs since the mobs/bosses are stupid/dull and having no ai at all just some predisgned scprits of behavior skills.
In any case if challenge is what u need in wow id recommend soem smarter mobs called humans where u can meet in rated bgs. That is if ofc u can be accepted in pvp guilds where skill and rexlexes counts more than cast frostbolt frostbolt frostbolt.
If u are ofc strict pvier u choosed wrong game cause wow's pve is as i stated before above challenging only if u are 8-10 y old.
Id recommend mount and blade warband if u havent played yet for single player.
From mmorpgs try ddo has way harder battles than wow,unexpected encounters while in dungeons etc etc

why are you so surprised!! how long have you actually been boreing your self with wow. you should know by now that wow is only temporary entertainment, it doesnt sport no where near enough end game content to keep the masses busy.

lmao catclysm, they are advewrtiseing it on brittish tv as wow remade, so wow would have to be really really bad for it to be remade. well ive played it and it bored the crap out of me.
i expected nothing less than a fibreless expansion for wow, the entire game is empty and dull. it has pretty graphics and alot of subscribers thats all.
It is not really the games fault that you just HAD to rush to 85 as soon as possible and probly did little or none of the actual questing or if you did the questing you used a addon to point you were things were and read none of it.
Part of fantasy role play is the story that comes out when you actuially read the quest. The same reason why movies tend to be shoter on story then the book version because there is only so much you can do visually.
There is tons of new stuff in cata there is no way you did it in three weeks, doing only the parts you wanted to do and being to lazy to do the rest is not the fault of the game.
I can say this because I am retired and I play almost all day everyday and I have not learned all there is to know, yes I can power grind and when I do I dont whine about the fact that the game let me down because in the end I was the one that did that, there was no devloper at my house holding a gun to my head forceing me to rush to 85 and ignore everything else.
I have had wow vets come back to the game and they powered to lvl 85 and now they are relizing how much the game has changed and have rolled new toons and are finding out about all the new things instead of assumeing they know it all.
At any point it is people like you that ruin good games, like all the kids that cried about SWG and they made it a simplistic trash dump to apease the kids that don't have the brain power to think about how they want to build a charactor and then actually do the work to get it there. People like you will nvr be happy with anything until you open your mind and think about the game and the charactor your making instead of reading off a web site what someone else did and copying it.

I reached 85 on the Dec 9th and compeleted every quest in the new zones Cata added on the Dec 10th.
It was fun and I look forward to leveling my alts now.
