Uhm, yea, I remember Ninja Gaiden and Bio Shock being 14+ Yes games do involve violence but it is censored to the extent to fit the according age range. There is a difference in shooting an enemy who just simply dies to having his guts getting splattered all over the screen. If that is the case for what you've said, in the Lion King we should maybe have seen a side story where we see Scar banging Simba's mum. Yea it's not right is it? Yet we DID see his Mufasa fall off a cliff, where he was brutally crushed by a stampede, and eventually died.....it was a scary scene to watch as a child but it didn't scar me, watching Scar getting it on would've....
because backwards america would freak out over it...but hey look! a bloody flying, chopped off head! SO COOL! Lets let our kids watch! WAIT A NIPPLE! PROTECT THE KIDS!
I don't know why so many people have this perception of the censorship in America...it's not accurate, people freak out about violence on TV and in video games just as much as they freak out about sexual content...the ESRB was not created here because Mortal Kombat contained nudalities (it didn't)...
Janet Jackson. Super Bowl. Nuff said.

The catharsis of killing a demon wont be equaled by the catharsis of having very soft loving sexual encounter with your mate in an rpg.
Rather, the only way to do the rpg 'sex escape' will be to have terrible, violent, horrible simulations of the love making act. Just like violence tends to go extreme in video games sex will go extreme.
The disparity between violence and sex is largely societal and religious in nature, but it also strives to keep sexual depravity below violent depravity. We can all make our own judgments about that.

I don't see the target you wanted to tell us with that post
Because if there will be a sex in videogames the developer of that game will be super rich. and before that game will release it will be banned for sure.
I don't think sex is good for videogames and it wouldn't be good for the industry. Most of the players and a large population is 18 below, developer won't like to be banned and in the end they won't get a lot of money from that. People are now strict in this kind of part specially our parents.
maybe because some of players are under age so they dont make games that have a scene like sex. And the game developers cant distinguish who are really at the right age to play that have a sex scene.so they develop games that can play anybody at any ages.
However, this is not my approach to sex on videogames. Sex in games is different from PR0N games. Not just that the whole content in porn games is "sex" but the whole concept is ridiculous (100% of the females in that games are ready to fuck, in RL the percentage is 60%)

Yeah, I know what you were shooting for but figure that game might be close to what you are looking for until we get adult-rated mmos. You could also try 7 Sins. It more of a puzzle type game.

In fact, comparing Bonetown (and willing to try BoneCraft when it's released) with Legend of Queen Opala, my idea of sex in games is closer to "Legend" than "Bonetown". However, even in Legend of Queen Opala the sex is the main focus of the game, obviously, but it has so many things to do than you don't think about it just as a hentai game. In the case of Bonetown it's impossible not to think about it as a porn game.
PS I'm pretty disgusted with the combat system in Bonetown. The enemies hit you at a ridiculous speed. When they hit you once you cannot defend yourself until you are on the floor and then you spam SHIFT+click

This post is full of epic freaking win.
You sir, are a god amongst people.
I'd prefer to see Jasmine screwing with her father than seeing two f*cking lions f*cking. It would have been less traumatic.

In summary, sex should be something natural. Censoring it to other adults it's like denying the human being.

why would you need it in videogames?
Didn't he say ON video games?
Personally i think It's because having sex on top of a stack of video games is probably not that comfortable.
Not that i would know.

I still have no idea why this thread is still active, my post using the example of the Lion King was suffice.
We're all Geniuses. Most of us just don't know it.
THere is sex in WoW. You both can lay in bed together and pretend. Just like a married couple. ;-)
No, that's when "little [yourself]" knows that the house door is still closed despite of what she says and the cuddles
