why did my red hyena turn into a bulldog?

resubbed today for first time in three years. i had a common hyena and a red hyena from one of the dungeons. logged in today for first time and my red hyena (which took a team of us to get) was now a bulldog. just curious what happened to cause the change? are red hyena's still in game? dont like the bulldog at all.

You probably had the hound from the scarlet monestary.   They were always supposed to be ´tracking hounds´ but there were never good models in the game for a hunting dog.   WIth the expansion, they added actual mastif dogs and replaced the hyena models that were in Scarlet Monestary.

Hyenas are still a pet class.   Here is the petopia page for Hyenas and the other pets.

They changed hunters a lot.  You are allowed to have like 20 pets in the stables now, and you can carry five with you at all times, but of course only one can be active.

thanks azrile. thats the one....from scarlet monestary. i had forgotten what it was called. damn miss that red hyena. still have a brown one though from the barrens. glad to know we can tame alot more pets now. kind of fun having a bunch.
