This game is a PlanetSide clone-ish seems fun with a full out battle.

Game Introduction
"Mars War" is a shooting war game. The background story starts at a mainland called "Mars". Two camps started a war for the resources on the mainland. Every new player who joined the game will become a new recruit and start your life as a soldier. The game involves traditional FPS game features and also it enlarges the game size. It allowed more than one thousand players to fight at the same time, wealth of game content. It also involves other type of game features such as role playing and strategy.

That trailer ruined it for me, especially when I had to mute the stupid song.
The music aside, it doesn't look too bad.. Hmm.. well f2p, can't hurt to try it.. A real planetside successor or something similar would be awesome.

I just installed this. Had a run around one of the maps and it seems pretty cool. The servers appear to be totally empty tho, which sort of kills the mood in a MMOFPS :P
This will be a blast if it gains popularity.

I know, right... We need to make the community i geuss, So we need to make people come to the game to get the numbers. It's really worth it once we see all the players fighting for controle.
I just downloaded the game.
The UI is a bit confusing to start with, but when you get into the zone combat it's actually kinda fun. IE. being able to freely switch between the different vehicles, hacking control points etc. The control system is just a little clunky, but I am sure that like any game, it will get refined over time.

what did they do take the planetside client and just add their own units?
Oh look, it's pay to win!! No thanks.... other than the cash shop, looked like it could be fun.
You have no idea what different stats, or effects the rental weapons have.
It's sooo not pay to win... You can buy bonuses like bonus exp and money and see how much damage you did. but all weapons, Equipement and Vehicles can be bought with in-game money and or real money. You also have in-game missions and you can earn items that way.
every company needs to make money.
No, the battle is mostly like Planetside(wich is a good thing). But yeah you should try it out.

There no such thing as a good F2P FPS because there no way to control hackers. So, I would recommend avoiding this game.
You can just take a look at Planetside. They had to suspend trial accounts because of hackers would get banned and just get another account.

By what I read on their site, it seems cool and I'll give it a try. But if your a patient type like me, you can wait for Planetside 2, which they had announced and even asked us Planetside 1 players what they could fix in the game and what we liked
Well, I gave this game a shot. It's a two faction system.Most things are unlock by earning crystals in game or buying from a cash shop. You start off with complete garbage weapon except the wolf rifle. Also anyone who bought better weapons and health/armor pots stuff will destroy you.
My take just pay the Planetside subscription for more players and a more polish game.
Edit: There is a huge pay 2 win factor in the game. Some items you can only get from credits like auto torrent from engineering in planetside

I miss the old Planetside. This looks pretty similar but the Cash Shop turns me off. I know Sony is making another Planetside game but I'm pretty leary of that too, even though they sent me that survey a while back asking for input. Only time will tell....
