Are the plaents in swtor more like subcontinents?
For example in wow.. in azeroth, there was kalamador, azeroth, and the other one lol
is it more like that?
or is each planet unique to its own?
or are they just more like a zone in say aion.. a planter could = morehim, beluselan, so on so forth..

Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
That youtube clip that Whilan linked too definately has some good footage and needless to say, there are some very distinct differences in the feel of these worlds based on that and the information write-ups on the SWTOR website. It's hard to say though whether they feel like worlds or "sub-continents" right now though. Many reviewers have talked about how big the beginner worlds are and the next worlds looked even bigger, but to be honest we just don't heave enough information right now. If BioWare/EA does the right thing marketing wise, we won't know until the game launches.

is it me or does the Tython music sound alot like Endor music from SWG?
My impression is that they are blocked in zones. In other words there will be terrain which you will come to which will be impassable and these will be the edges of the zones. It's entirely possible the zones will increase in size with expansions, depending on how they choose to handle expansions.
Each planet will be unique, both in type of terrain and size of the zone. The smallest will be the starter worlds, but even these will be fairly good sized. It's been said of one starter world that it took about an hour to walk from one side to the other. That's probably equivelant to about two or three zones in WoW? Hard to say really, but that would be my guess.
These are only my impressions from what little info has been given, so there's really no certainty yet. The only certainty is that they are open, meaning there's room to explore, and that each is unique.
Info and playtesting has already confirmed that most of the planets are absolutely enormous. Not really sure impressions are required the evidence is here for all to see . A little digging on decent sites will get you the required info.

Sorcery must persist, the future is the Citadel
I've also heard the planets were very big in scale.
This was one of the first things I looked up, since I absolutely hate heavily instanced games.
Groovy.
Yea, that has been a huge selling point for a long time now. It also explains the huge budget for this game IF the former disgruntled employee EA Louse can be believed, and I personally do not trust any former disgruntled employees that were fired by a company. Just too many questions going around in that situation. Still though, almost every reviewer as of late has commented on how big things are AND people who claim to be Beta Testing are saying the same thing. I have yet to see anyone claiming to be a Beta Tester that claims otherwise in fact, so that gives me high hops for the game.
