PVP Hunting Bots
Anybody know if they're still a plague? I know the leveling and gathering bots were bad right after launch, and it only got worse when there were PVP bots running around with gold +10 everything. I ended up quitting after getting fedup with the GMs not even reacting to reports of these things running around wrecking havoc on every server, and in every zone that had rifts opening up.

PVP bots? Yea those are not around anymore. Never even heard of that and I was here after launch!
I'm going to hazard a guess that not every server had that issue. That, or I was just unlucky to come across them every server (three switches total) that I moved to. Still, glad to hear they finally nailed down that problem.
Yea the game is very clean now. You still see people botting but it no where near the same amount as before.
I remember running into bots that killed mobs in the abyss and would attack you when you attacked them.. But never a bot built for pvp, which would be pretty challangeing to do lol.

Well, someone did pull it off. I don't remember the exact name of the bot program that was used. What it did was it ran around hunting players. If I remember right, you could set it to either gather, hunt mobs, or hunt players.
Aion goblin I think was the program used by those people as you say it could bot path's kills have it ignore NPC's and only PK etc People would plant their high level bots at low level rift exit points basically they bot griefed newbies whilst at work etc no reason other than to be a dick because they where certainly not getting Ap from it.
it was pointless newbs grouping to take them down as Aion has no balance so put a good few levels between you and the target and the target can;t even hit you.
