Mars Wars - Anyone played it?

I really enjoyed playing Planetside a few years back and missed that MMOFPS style of game. I recently saw Mars Wars but with the site looking pretty cheep and how little I'd heard of it I am a little worried it's not going to be great. I wondered if anyone had played it as it released on Jan 10th and how they found it?
