    Got one too, can't wait to help them iron out those pesky bugs.

     

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
    -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

    Got one but the installer isn't working so can't download it . Will try again later .

    Says its not a valid windows application .

    I reckons gremlins are involved  . Pesky critters .

    Working fine for me, patching atm.

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin

    Tried again I just keep getting this is not a valid win32 application message . Have tried saving it to a different folder . Are you using windows XP papadam ?

    I remember beta testing the game around 4 years ago. It wasn't ready for prime time then but did have some interesting features. I'll give it a shot and see what has changed. Thanks!

    Got the key, made account, downloaded & patched and now playing. Can't say a thing though, because I'm not sure there's an NDA on this game ;-)

    Im in beta its under nda so i cant say anything but its really fun, and that's coming from someone who played Rift and did not like it.

    Nice game that won't be for the 'it has to be new and shiney'  hype zerg that flock to all the new hyped up releases but will defenitely find it's own niche. Well worth helping test.

    Don't judge it on the first 20mins.

    biggest problem with thisd game is the lack of a quest helper... it feels like it shoul dhave came out right after SWG in 2001

    I for one hate quest helpers of any sort, i hate how you just run through the world following dots. I wanna have a reason to read the quest bring up my map and go adventure for it. but maybe im just old school like that.

    I wish there was just a little more information on the game. I like the class videos (on this site) but they don't give a whole lot of information on the combat or character progression.

    I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

    Wonder why i got this beta key, just to check things out i guess.. Clicking on beta key actions has become a seccond nature for me...

    Currently i am having way to much fun playing DCUO, finally an MMO away  from that typical EQish playstyle, and i love it big time.

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

     I do not believe SOE is publishing.  That deal was drawn up back when Perpetual (the original developers) was still working on the game.  I believe Heatwave is still self-publishing - and it seems like they are still in the process of determining a business model.

     

    My hope is that Heatwave goes for a more Turbine-esque "Freemium" model.
