The King thinks this is sort of like watching those people who read the instructions on a Pop Tart every morning.

It is kind of obvious that such statements are a deference because "I don't know." isn't good enough for the media or fans. Maybe they have an idea and they don't wish to lie or jynx the process. Maybe they're totally WTF IDK LAWL? Maybe.. Really it's just flat satisfying logic, and maybe a mixed in bag of New Hope*. (fufufu, the King made a funny)

But technically a game cannot launch without being ready. Ready means a lot of different things to people tho'.

FFXIV was technically ready, but it seemed lacking to a lot of fans. RIFT in it's beta form had a lot of easily impressed folks thinking it's ready, but Trion is milking the tests for good reason so they can release the best product they possibly can.

Without an authentication server, billing server, population server, a launch party, and a few lawyers shooing EA and UbiSoft away- no game can be ready until it's ready.

Will develop an original MMORPG title for money.

I have heard it from both, weither they MEAN IT....thats another debate.

It's a common phrase, that often ends up not meaning anything when the pressure from the boss starts.

Then to boot, everyone has their own version if something is 'ready' or not.
