Non mmo's
Battlefield 2 is fun, on line play but not mmo, no monthly fees, and only $19.95. You do not need the new expantion, I think most players are on the old maps anyway.
MMO
Vanguard- It's the only good one, YES it has a low population, but No problems to get groups for anything you would like to do if you know how to get them, and not shy. You have to use the search feature, and spam others nicely, VERY CLOSE TO EVERYONE WILL JOIN YOUR GROUPS, even the vets.
I can get a group for anything I would like to do in less than 20 min. I am not kidding or exaggerating !
Dragon age origins + expansion.

Funny.. I agree but a lot of people seem to think Allistair makes the game good or something >_>
