Brandywine is the most populated.  I beleive Landroval is the well populated RP server.

    New player? Crickhollow.

It's a new server with F2P so you have a very active population in every area. I've been in the middle of honestly f'n nowhere and had players run by me.

    HIGHLY recommend Crickhollow.

I can speak for my own server, Arkenstone, but I will say we have an healthy population at all levels, and plenty of great kins, ranging for casual to hardcore raiding.

been leveling another alt on Silverlode and plenty of people so far in the 1-30 areas. I have sold everything I put up on the AH ( crafted items, un needed ore , wood, recipes etc, so that is a good sign also.

    I miss DAoC

No PvP at all in LOTRO. Only Monsterplay where you can fight other players playing monster avatars(..orc..spiders..wargs and some others I believe) or vice versa....and only if you subscribe(for now). It's not true PvP..but  I thought it was fun when I tried it a year ago.

I'm on Gladden..which is a decently populated server.

Its also in a seperate zone you can't just walk into either.  You have to choose to travel there, where I suppose you could call it zoning into an instaned battleground, but on the scale of an impressively massive zone!  The rest of the game world is entirely PvE as it should be, cause LOTR was not written in the sense that would have us playing the evil side running around the world causing havok.

I'll finaly try lotro over this weekend since its F2P. I'm a bit confused though because I can't see some of the suggested servers listed on ther forum, ie. Crickhallow and Brandywine.

Could someone suggest a good EU-RP server? Thanks

Depends on your language really, as there are 3 RP servers, separated by language. If English, it's Laurelin - the others are German and French.

    Playing: AC2
Played: UO, DaoC, Horizons, Ryzom, WAR, LotRO, Eve, VG...

Crickhollow and Brandywine are US servers, and you are probably using a EU client (codemasters), that's why they are not showing up.
