Need something to keep me busy until Guild Wars 2 comes out.

I'm looking for a MMO that'll keep me busy until GW2 comes out. I'm looking for a PvE game that's either P2P or B2P, and has active newbie/low level areas/friendly community/etc.

 

I've played F2P and B2P games in the past. I've played or tried: Guild Wars, Perfect World, DDO, LOTRO, and Evequest 2.

 Guild Wars and Perfect World I both played for a couple of years, each. I greatly enjoyed PW, but learned that F2P games are not for me (I spent more than if I'd played a P2P game). The Cash Shop is just too tempting for me.

 

The main issues I had when trying DDO, LOTRO, and EQ2 is the complete desolation of lower level areas. I really want to play a game (preferably B2P or P2P), where I have the chance to play through the game with others from the beginning without being rushed. I fondly remember making lot's and lot's of friends in GW and PW while playing the campaign/leveling up and doing quests, missions, dungeons, etc together while having a good time.

 

Does such a game exist currently? Or do I need to wait for another game to come out?

Rift is coming out on 1st March or 24th Feb is you pre order, so there will be plenty of lowbie characters cos everyone will be!

It has quite a huge PvE aspect to the game also with the invasion rifts.
