But in the off chance there was anything serious about the OP, i agree, mundane, repetitive, day to tasks like sleeping, eating, and of course, crapping might make an MMORPG a more realistic virtual world, but would add almost nothing to the fun factor.

AoC had a system where if you were drunk, you had some "drunk only" emotes, one of which was taking a piss (only for male toons though). Dying in pvp usually meant the winners all taking a leak on your corpse. Funcom eventually got rid of that emote...
ROFL I wondered when someone was going to bring this up. Over the years this topic has been discussed and joked about on TS and Vent as well as in group/guild chat in probably every MMO. This subject was always treated with humor and as a farce, but it was good for some laughs.
For those whom are offended I will say I did not get the impression he was attempting to gross us out or offend. I'm not offended in the least. Are we not all adults here (or are we not all playing a game normally designed for adults?)

As for adding this as a "feature" to future MMOs designed to be Virtual Worlds... I would say skip this one. I love virtual reality in MMOs probably more than anyone but this would not add anything useful to the experience.

This would of course be a wonderful Role Playing aspect, which is sadly missing from many games that claim to be "RPG" (either by game design or lack of player involvement).
And then there's the part of taking a bath, eating food (and different kinds of food), body changing depending on what you do and what you eat.

Hmm i must say i dont read these articles much but i liked this one! The idea to HAVE to go to the bathroom is not that good of an idea especially if im doing something with friends but have to put it on hold to go take a dump? so i would say make this something of an option....BUT the idea to use the poo as a weapon i would agree with! To be in a battle with no special items except me and my poo to take on the masses<3! screw what the rest of them say i would love to sling a handful of poo like a dirty skill at monsters or people i dont like just for the simple fact that i can! Why use words to insult when i have my handy backside. But for the love of god people your getting all offensive like he is going to make every game out there with this in it. Its just a thought he had and shared, get a sense of humor its all fun and if you take this serious O_o you take games too serious!! tsk tsk Q_Q~
I always assumed that my characters took care of this sort of thing while I was logged off.
Important facts: 1. Free to Play games are poorly made. 2. Casuals are not all idiots, but idiots call themselves casuals. 3. Great solo and group content are not mutually exclusive, but they suffer when one is shoved into the mold of the other. The same is true of PvP and PvE. 4. Community is more important than you think.
