Does Mountain Dew taste better in a can or a bottle?

Today i was drinking mountain dew from a can and the later in a bottle. I thought that the can had better taste. I don't know why but maybe they make it different in the can? But anyways, write about what you think and do this simple poll.

Anyway, despite that, I like Mountain Dew. It's about the only soda pop I drink, when I drink soda. It's been years since I've drinken it out of a bottle (oh wait...you mean a plastic bottle?). When I was small, they were still selling it in glass bottles. Either way, I don't think I can tell the difference no matter what container it comes in.
Boy, people will come up with just about any topic eventually.
It tastes better as 7up.

Yup. I half-way remember the TV commercials when they introduced it in the mid-'60s. I haven't had one since at least 1970.
Heh, funny thing is I actually tried mountain dew(in a bottle) a few days a go. My God it tastes absolutely horrible, but for some reason you can kinda drink it though without throwing up....weird drink, but if I want an energy drink, I'll stick to Red Bull thank you very much.

I used to like Mountain Dew in the early 70's,back when they used real sugar and less additives

They actually still bottle most of the soda's in glass if thats what you want hehe. Locally we have a bottler which sells to the stores here. All glass. LOVE rootbeer in glass.
I haven't had Mountain Dew out of a bottle in a long time so I don't think I could tell a difference. On a side note though I recently found at my local Costco that they sell Coke in a bottle that is made the old way with sugar cane instead of whatever they switched to and there is a huge difference in flavor. It's a lot better.
In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.
Cans are better because in bottles they just refill it after someone had drank on it. But it cans, after we drink on it, we can throw it away. I just don't find drinking in bottles that fun. But I agree that the taste of mountain dew is not like what it tastes before.
The taste of Mountain Dew is better in bottle for me, because I love the bottle. haha.. Bottle is useful if you will have a fight with you bf than can hahaha. Sorry off topic.. Just give you guys some ideas

The stuff in the can tastes like it has more syrup to me...and it depends on my mood which I like better...generally though, I like it better from a can.

it tastes better in can because first of all the can is not transparent so as to avoid direct contact from light and is susceptible to outside phenomenon.. (am i saying the correct word??) like humidity, light, temperature.

Well not really. You can taste the plastic in the plastic bottles if your sensitive enough. Cans similarly have a metalic flavour, which I frankly dont mind. Glass actually has no flavour though due to the way the molecules work. That all being said, its mostly temperature variances causing flavour shifts. Which is actually very real. Thats why many sugars have to be a certain temperature in desserts for it to taste right.
I dont like canned drinks...They taste different!
I do prefer everything on either plastic bottles or glass bottles (they use glass in philippines...)

They sure do Castille. I wasnt far from the Coke plant in cebu at the apartment I stayed. You could hear the trucks picking up bottles around 4am
