Dead Video Card

I bought the game sat. and I login i played all sat and when i login in sunday my video card died so I have to buy a new video card

All I will have to spend on the new card is between 100 and 130 dollors and was wondering what would be the best card to get for this game

Uh, well the first thing you should do is make sure it is in fact your video card that's causing the problem, since it would be really bad to drop a hundred bucks on a replacement only to find that your system still doesn't work afterwards. Also, if you haven't voided the warranty by overclocking, you may be able to get a free replacement card.

If you do need to buy a new video card after all, I don't think there's a significant difference between a Radeon and a GeForce as far as FFXIV's concerned. So go over to Newegg and grab whatever's in your price range. Just at a glance, I noticed these two have rebates and free shipping:

(Naturally, you need to make sure that there is enough room for one of those cards in your case, and that your PSU has the right connectors and sufficient wattage to power it. Have someone take a look if you're not sure.)
