Remakes

They should remake old MMOs like they do with movie remakes, except without Will Smith or any of his family members.

 

Seriously, I really don't care about what's coming out. Who is really excited about these latest MMOs? I mean, I read some of these posts here and share the same feeling. I see a new MMO coming, it is real shit, but I pretend it is good because I haven't had a good time playing MMOs in a long time.

 

Well you know what? We shouldn't pretend. We shouldn't accept the same ol', same ol'. I've even read that people are willing to play an unfinished game that comes out in four days. Let me guess, you think it's worth $15 a month like WOW is or EQ was? What the hell happened to gamers? What the hell happened to gamers making video games and not corporations? Stop buying this crap and they will stop making crap.

 

Anyways, I just wanted to know from some old school players what games you would like to see reborn. And by that I mean the same game and mechanics but with some AOC/EVE type graphics. Because face it, if it wasn't for the poor population, we would still be playing the old school games.

 

I have 3 myself in no particular order:

EQ

AO

SWG pre-cu

 

I'm talking with all the expansions, new  servers, a complete rebirth of an oldie but with all of the tech goodies of 2011.

 

What would you remake?
