I think I had that on my Atari 800XL like 20 years ago... or was ir Commodore 64....
============================== And besides, like it or not, people do try to "win" massively multiplayer RPGs. The rules of engagement are something like this: * If there is a status bar, make it grow bigger * If there is a number, make it higher * If it moves, either get a mission from it or kill it

No offence but this is dumb statement. I played AC for 4 years and its great game best MMORPG on the market definetly.
AC2 is also very good, it has low population becouse of people who do not play it, played AC for a while poped into AC2 beta and realized its not AC with updated graphics. Without secont though branded it "dumb" and forgot all about it.
Now you repeating this dumb slogan. AC2 is a very good game but very different than AC.

AC2 is the only game I know of that has so much interaction between it's dev's and players. Now that Turbine owns AC2 and are taking control of all systems and support for the game, I think the level and speed of content will be even better in the months to come.

Something must have changed then because in the time I played the AC2 beta and nearly a year into retail they never listen to anyone and did what they thought would be best for us. Damn I hated those cocky devs ! I experienced so much changes in game play with the chars I got it was realy bad. They put so much time on character balancing that is realy insane.
But on the other side the game has a lot to offer and every month there is an update with some smaller or bigger add to the content. After playing it for more then a year (beta included) I ended my subscription because I did all there was to do in the game and much of it multiple times. There should be a crafting patch soon which will completely redesigned the way the crafting is now. I was looking forward to this patch last year because the devs promised us this patch in august '03. Then they postponed it to Jan '04 and hopefully for the current players it will be available in now in May '04. Maybe when this patch is done I go back and reactivate my account, who knows
first off Ferada, this is an AC2 FORUM. Post comments rumors or news about AC2, not Deloria, which btw makes Runescape look like a game that would come out in 2010. ( anotherwords, its horrible, just MO) As a matter of fact im surprised that post wasnt deleted, considering you said absolutly nothing about AC2 or even AC2 related.
And 2nd of all, i played the AC2 15-day trial, i was instantly hooked, unfortunatly i didnt have the funds in order to pay for AC2, but i enjoyed it so much that i made new trial accounts over and over to see how far i could get in the 15 days, got to lvl 35 in those 2 weeks. I havnt played AC2 in about a year or so, but when i was playing, the devs were great. I had 1 problem the entire time i was there, i used the button to send my problem to help, and within 5 min i got a response and got it fixed.
Also that communitty in AC2,(namley the clans) are great! I joined a clan and within minutes we were hunting and crafting and lvling like mad. Even though there are few players, which im not sure how many there are now seeing as it has been over a year since i've checked up on it. Everyone is VERY helpful to new players.
I bet you havnt even played AC2 have you? Well thats a shame, it is a great game, with content being added every month. Check it out, try the 15-day full trial if u dont want to waste your money, just be sure to play with an open mind and dont automatically asume it will be horrible.
I saw an angel of death come from the clouds one day, it touched my heart and smiled, then flew away, i felt my heart turn black and cold, and embraced this new power that i now hold

Wow, this is an old post, but just browsing thru the forums and saw this one and had to post on it. AC2 has came a long way. It is now one of the best games out there. The graphics are great, and since Turbine has purchased the game they have removed almost all of the bugs. With the expansion that was released in May, Legions, game play has really improved for me. And this months patch brought the revival of grouping once again. Now groups of 5 or more earn 250% more xp per kill!! My Empyrean Hieromancer went from lvl 47 to almost 51 in just three days. And that was just 2 hours a nite. Oh well, looks like no one EVER comes here to this AC2 forum. But if someone does come...d/l the free trial and give it a second look. Definately worth it IMHO.

That reminds me of this game.
