SB will be the best in years. Whoever said "lesser teams involved" obviously knows nothing about football. Yeah the 3 time SB champions in 6 years are packed with nobodys! I for one will be at a friends house at their bar watching this and getting toasted! Then when I get home I'll fire up Rift and taunt all the Packer Fans on after their crushing defeat!
And to Grunty I feel your pain. My team is also ran by a Egomaniac that makes stupid personnel decisions. But I can't feel TOO sorry about the Cowgirls because my team is owned by D.S. Can you guess who that is LOL

Never cared about Super Bowl though it will be a game with too "lesser" teams having made it..no nationally big names always makes for a more interesting contest.

This thread amuses me... it forwards the "nerds play MMOs" stereotype (especially the "why is it called FOOTball when they use their HANDS?!" thinking they've pointed out some fundamental flaw that nobody has noticed up until now). On top of that, the few people who have basically said "I've tried this game and essentially I don't like it" are being flamed as trolls for simply expressing their opinion, the attack of which reeks of elitism. So yes, we get it, elitist nerds love this game...
But guess what... personally, I don't really like Rift either... I've played in the past 2 betas, and really didn't see anything that grabbed me. The character creator, though extensive, is also very linear. And even with hundreds of choices, you can easily tell that down the line, in order to raid effectively, you will need to basically boil down to the same holy trinity. As much as they want to get away from that, the min-maxers out there will still find a way to say "This is the best build for dps... if you don't have it, then we don't want you raiding with us", and then all the fantastic choices will then boil down to 4 primary choices as players are pressured into conforming. The Rifts seem like a neat mechanic, but I wish it was an all-or-nothing approach. Right now it feels like they're just trying to get the best of both worlds. Its dynamic AND a themepark! But if I'm focusing on the themepark so I could enjoy the lore, the rifts and invasions just get in the way as doing them I'd easily overlevel the questing and questhubs would be attacked/decimated. If the game was JUST rifts, it would be a lot more enjoyable... but the setup as it is now, once you've done it once or twice, it loses its thrill. The rifts can't stand up on their own.
But really guys, just because someone has a differing opinion doesn't automatically make them wrong and a troll, and attacking them for it is the real troll behavior. As a wise person once said (and I extreme paraphrase) "It is the fool who blindly attacks others who don't think like he does, the wise person, though disagreeing, sees the reasoning behind the opposer's arguments." So please folks, let others have their differing opinions. Not everyone who disagrees with you is incorrect.

As for what you said, I would expect that different souls have different advantages for different situations. I don't see any other point in changing them if one combination was good enough for everything.

And based on TV ratings and Internet forum traffic...the Steelers are the second most popular team, and the Packers are #5.

I would assume the fact that I'll be playing an MMO after the biggest event in American sports would be enough proof that I am in fact at least "nerdish". But i have no problem with that. Their are ALOT of "Nerds" that play pro sports.

System is kinda odd because u cant even download client so some ppl need to download it tomorrow when got invitation. Thank god i dont have a slow connection because client is about 7gb.

I applied a Vip key but still didn't get invitation yet. I thought ViP keys would get you invitation for the last 2 beta events. What the hell?
