Forsaken World: Launching March 23rd

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that its anticipated new MMO, Forsaken World, will be officially launched on March 23, 2011. The launch will be a simultaneous North American and European event. PWE has said from the start that the "game was built from the ground up with the western gamers in mind."
In Forsaken World, the evil Dysil has returned to the world of Eyrda to wreck havoc on the five races that had previously united to defeat him. With the fate of Eyrda lying in the balance, players must reunite the races, seek out the lost relics of past fallen gods and rid Eyrda of Dysil once and for all.

The beta still felt Asian to me.
Well the whole game is asian not just for you but as a fact...they say its made for westerners just to bring more players to it...so they are lying..the game has nothing that looks like it was made for western people in mind.imo

lol a black dude was trying to get into a pub..the doorman didnt let him in because he wasnt wearing any shoes..nobody is allowed to go in without shoes on, but the black dude didnt stop saying: " you dont let me in because im black?"
Actually I'll have to agree it didn't feel very westernized at all and it got boring quickly.
All too many of the Asian games have a certain number of traits. Extreme grind, typical art styles, forced PvP, cash/item shops. Thus a game that has those traits could be described as "Asian", with no racism involved.
Also I'll have to add to the 1st poster Rift pre-order headstart is on Feb. 24th, and release is March 1st. FW starts about a month after!

Eastern style mmos are all grinding with that anime -ish look to them.
Imagine someone talking about Allods and saying... "Well that game felt too Russian too me".

Stating that a MMorpg it´s Asian or Westrn, sounds like racism , but isn´t, Why, because Eastern and western Fantasy are distint, so people can dislike one kind or other type of fantasy and not be racist at all.
The game runs like absolute crap on gaming rigs. It's a known fact and has been discussed to death in their forums since beta 1. PW has yet to acknowledge or say "Yeah we know we are fixing the issue". Running a game with 15fps is unacceptable on any gaming rig. It's just horribly coded and the angelica engine needs to be put to rest!!
When I can play without fps lag, and without the lame answer "turn down your settings", I'll check it out again.....

Most of their games run like crap, they don't seem to be very good at optimizing their engine or clients.
The game engine they use for all their games doesn't support multi core processors, it use only one core, even if you have a quad core.
I got a new PC with a quad core and a good graphic card and RAM, the game was slower than with my old PC (single core processor and a X800 graphic card).
Just because of this I will never touch this game.
Well I guess I won't miss that much anyway, knowing PWE...
The devs from the perfect world have clearly stated that this is game being made particularly for western audience on their video. other then stonemen,male dwarf rest looks like anime characters. i even find it asian whenever i see numbers floating in Italics.
Man, another piece of shit coming out from PW. I just don't get it why anyone would bother with these. I guess PW still feels they got a market since they're expanding their collection of low production quality cash shop doodies.
It felt like playng Perfect World, but looks like it is trying to be World of Warcraft, not to mention its a hell of a lot more casual than Perfect World, so easy to level.
I think it is their best game to date, but it shouldn't be advertised as a western game, it should pride itself on being a better eastern game, less grind, more quests, stylised graphics, etc.
this game... is not that exciting to play.. same old, same old routine in an mmo. just boring to me.

Perfect World's graphic engine is very crappy, all its games have the same feeling, even this one. They declared that Forsaken world has the best graphics in China, but in fact, it's so damn crappy. I just found it's even much worse than WOW's graphics.
I suggest you guys don't have any hope on Perfect World, they just wanna make fast money(that's why they have tons of garbage games) but never care about their game quality.
A game for Westerners? Excellent, guess that means we'll see the usual assortment of kill-quests, stereotypical warrior/mage/healer class selections, and an agonizing level grind.
Well first off, not all PW games have bad graphic engines. Perfect World runs on just about anything decently. As to Forsaken World, well i'ts client has a ways to go, it was even slow on my computer.
While I liked the Perfect World game, I found there item shop to be rip off city. The joke of someone actually getting to max level in that game without item shop purchases was really amusing more than amazing as that person had to spend such an inordinate amount of time farming, they practically had to live in the game to do it.
Posters get on gpotato for having greedy item shops, PW item shops make gpotato look generous.
I don't expect Forsaken World to be any different.
You know why FW is only 15fps on your ultimate gaming rig?
You're running a 1mb graphic card, ffs upgrade the damn card :P *jokes
Not to mention how disappointing Vista is.......
But yeah the games shat,
gameplay is bad, graphic at most average,
UI is Aion mutated clone (bad mutation, not xmen cool mutation),
fps drops like Goku faceplant at 10x gravity when 6+ character are needed to be rendered,
Chat box is just bad, can't even see combat and stuff, (maybe you can, but its just not intuitive, I shouldn't have to look 10 min to figure this out) not to mention the two separate chatbox for I don't know what purpose
Just let this game die and PW die, they are like tiny poo stain in a public towel bowl unable to be flushed away =

but the worse of everithing about all pwe games is the support to the costumers, we need to wait more than 3 days to get a answers and in the foruns people are always complaining about the support team because people never get answer to their questions thats really sad because with so many unemployement in america they could give some jobs to help in their support tasks.
MY FEELING about pwe IS THAT THEY ARE RIP ALL THE MONEY THEY CAN TO TAKE IT TO CHINA , i dont understand why people still give their money to them seams kind there is alot of retards in the world.
