Problems installing the retail client

I am having a problem installing the game.  At the very beginningof the process, it tells me "extracting X to folder X"  then just says

"failed with error" installation cancelled.  Anyone else having this problem or any other installation problems and fix ideas.  Thx

Are u just opening the torrent file if so just click on the exe. maybe as admin,i had no bother installing Earthrise,unless the download is corrupted best i can do sorry.

I had this too with whatever my default unzipper was.  I manually used 7zip with it and it didn't work until I first extracted the whole thing into another directory and then ran the exe.
