Sorry but anyone calling what RIFT has to offer PVP wise "exciting" really needs to go play a real PVP game like Darkfall with FPS combat AND full loot. I just can't derive fun from generic-no-reward-press 1 - 0 to-active-skills type games anymore.

I have to agree! Most MMORPGs use a combat model that depends on a Random Number Generator to determine Hits and Crits. And such system never require the same level of skill as FPS type combat. So if the OP really wants to brag about his PvP prowess he shouldn't be doing so because he ganked someone already engaged in combat, like is shown in those videos. Seems like the OP is just an immature kid with some serious social issues... Then again he most likely couldn't cut it in a game that required any real skill.

My dude, I was a red PK on Atlantic server in Ultima Online. I'm pretty sure I know what griefing is all about. I think that you're the one who's confused about what griefing is.
Now granted, I stopped watching your first video after about a minute but all I saw you doing is killing lower level players who are fighting mobs.

All I watched was a bored coward ganking lowbies using OP techniques. Sorry, the video was boring, and your tactics were lame. You never tried to PvP skill vs skill. You took advantage of the flaws in the RIFT PvP system and exploited them. GG.
To me it looked like a rogue working in his element. And when you'r in the mood for hunting guardians, you don't "search" people around your level, you don't think "hmmm, is this ethical killing this lvl 24 cleric when I'm 27?".
And what are OP techniques? Stealth and backstab? I guess he should just charge the opponents face to face, maybe even send a /PM "Hey Turd! I'm coming out of stealth and killing you. Prepare!". And of course that wouldn't be idiotic - it would be fair. Attacking enemy while he's fighting mobs? Well of course you can't do that. That's just rude and blah blah blaa.
As long as there's people playing rogues - there's people who are getting owned by them. Only thing they can do is to whine how "He had no true skillz." to themselves while walking back to their corpse.
There is one thing in Rift's rogues though. Getting kills as a rogue is just way too easy since you can slash melee or shoot and run. There's literally no escape from a rogue's wrath.

Darkfall's PvP system isn't fun.... It's downright stressful... I got so paranoid and fearful in that game that it reminded be of hardcore duels on D2... I don't like high levels of stress in my games... That's not fun for me, that amount of stress is just uncomfortable. If you like the PvP of Darkfall that's great, but you can't say that Rift PvP sucks based on a game like Darkfall... They are two completely different games... the low death penalty of Rift and the severe death penalty of Darkfall are like apples and Oranges for PvP. That's what makes Darkfall so much more fun to me, the fact your heart is racing and that there is an actual and purposeful reward for killing someone other than to just to kill for the sake of it. People really need to stop getting attached to their pixels so much.
I wish more people would give games like Darkfall a chance, more so if they like PVP and want a game where every kill is rewarded just as every death you lose out. Darkfall has amazing pvp, adrenaline rushing like crazy

PVP in Rift is basically a joke. And open world PVP just shows how crazy it is to allow free for all killing. You can barely hurt someone when they are 3 levels above you, and you practically can't touch them if they are 4 levels above you.
So of what I watched in these videos, every person he killed didn't stand a chance because they were all 5+ levels below him. If he had attacked someone 5+ levels above himself, you'd see him missing an incredible amount while taking critical hits on every third hit.
Ganking is not PVP, PVP implies the other side stands a 50% chance of winning if the players are equally as good as their classes. It really doesn't matter whose playing the other guy when he can't hit you.
So I'll classify this video as a gank video since all the parts I skipped to were him killing people who couldn't fight back, and it's a major thumbs down to Rift PVP. Plus their queue system doesn't match teams evenly at all in warfronts, which kills the other portion of their PVP system. It's a shame these systems are considered the "PVP" standard, it draws so many griefers and gankers you might as well give up on trying to actually find a fair fight in those kind of systems.....they'll call their buddies over to gang bang you or log in a higher level guy to camp you ala WoW.

They require different types of skill. There isn't more skill in FPS combat compared to the traditional MMO, its just a different type.
