You know, when you play an MMO, you play the whole package. Are the sum of the features offered by Tera worse than those offered by ER? Are the problems bigger or smaller? Are the ER graphics so superior than you can disregard other issues? But more important:
One is high fantasy, the other is sci-fi. For some people the background story doesn't matter, but there are those that care about these things. There are also those that the art style is a big turn-off.
Most new games can take a pretty screenshot with settings turned up. So what? Ignoring everything else and focusing JUST on the graphics....
What this game doesn't have is much variety in the graphics. Go to any given zone and you'll see the same 10 textures... over and over and over and over...
You like that building and that wall and that moss? Good! Because they've composed an entire zone of the same building, wall, and moss.
When I look at this picture: "I want to go see that stone statue". It's looks the size of a mountain.
And on this one: "I want to see if that building has any room's"
They both look like something I could get into and play and have fun.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
You compere a game which is a constant slideshow to a game with a retarded Asian art style: oversized swords, women looking like Asian perv dream and ninja pandas as playeable characters...
Guess what ? I still bet all my money on ER. At least their art designers have some taste.

If you turn the camera in ER in right angle. And enable all effects full (you can not see in screenshot the game is running 2 fps)
Than in some wierd cases ER can look comparable to any random non beautifull screenshot of Tera.
yea lol, what's your point? They are both looking good.

Too bad we are not playing slideshows huh?
The way a game movies is just as important as static pictures, if not more so.
