Damn. Would like to have read that.

I know the same thing has happened to me on this site and others. Try just frequently copying and pasting into another program as you work. That's what I do.

Hope you'll get around to posting it later. I'd like to learn more about Xyson.

This has happened to me a few times.  But when it's happened to me, all I had to do was page back and my beautiful text was still there.  I selected and copied it, then logged in again, and pasted it to another post.  It's worked that way for me so far.

Sorry to hear you lost your hard work,  Jamigre. I'm sure your next draft will be better, though.

Agreed, this has also worked for me. However on the off chance you have a power outage or a BSOD or something a saved copy of a long post on your HD is a little extra insurance.

Usually it's a good idea that when you write something that big where it could be lost if something goes wrong.  It's usually a good idea to copy it into word or note pad or something.  Just in case.

Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.

I always do my write-ups in notepad if I'm planning something more than a few paragraphs.

Was expecting this to happen, didn't. I've got a 40 min train ride ahead of me, I'll write something up then.

Day 2 was pretty fun as well :P

Awesome, thanks for sticking with it and giving it another go. I know it's frustrating to lose something like that, it's happened to me. I'm sure a lot of us were hoping you'd give it another go since we're all looking for input on the game.

If I am writing something long I always write it in word first. You never know what will happen in your browser.

Sent me an email if you want me to mail you some pizza rolls.
