Until I stop having fun, reach max level and there's nothing left for me (because I don't raid), or GW2 comes out, whichever comes first.
1. Is guaranteed to happen
2. These expert mode to the dungeons just look intense. One guy managed to aggro a expert
mode boss in Foul Cascade at lvl 30 and it hit him for 19,000. I think these expert modes
will keep people busy for awhile.
3. GW2 2012 maybe!?!?
Yeah, I won't be doing expert dungeons, either. Pretty much solo/duoing with my husband . I'm resolved to my options being "level an alt or quit" when I get to 50. It will probably take a long while for me to get there, though.
Hoping that Trion delivers and can keep up their impressive level of response, so voted for a long run. (In fact long run and "as long as I am having fun" would have to be one option)
TERA dropped off my radar after seeing how another goodlooking Korean game was managed in the west (Aion). Unfair maybe, but RIFT have already delivered on so many things.
SW:TOR was never on my radar. Loved the movies too much to be disappointed with a 3.rd party rendition.
I will definately be buying and playing GW2, simply because A-net are awesome. (Everyone knows that A-net > B-bet.)
I would'nt see a problem playing RIFT along with GW2 if I find both entertaining.
We dont need casuals in our games!!! Errm... Well we DO need casuals to fund and populate our games - But the games should be all about "hardcore" because: We dont need casuals in our games!!! (repeat ad infinitum)
Same as with any MMO - I'll play for as long as I'm having fun. I've learned from experience, and when you're no longer having fun in a game, then it's time to move on.
I'm planning on getting TOR when it comes out, but I can probably swing running two subs if Rift keeps on being fun.

I'm the same, though I'd also add the possibility of spending some time at level 50 doing Rifts with public groups. I'm not sure how long that will stay interesting (I've never enjoyed repeating content), but I'll try that. For the most part, I'm not really into the whole raiding/pvp scene. I prefer taking my time, looking around, wandering off to look for collections, etc. Groups are usually very, very goal-oriented, unless you know everyone involved (and sometimes even then) and I'm not terribly interested in the whole "efficiency and reward over fun" scenario. I have never yet been in a raid that was anything other than a hostile, unpleasant experience, a bunch of strangers trying to screw each other over for loot. Ick.

Your missing out. Old Republic franchise makes the movies look pathetic. Especially the new ones.

Until it's no longer fun.
The following statement is false
The previous statement is true
SWToR has the rep of being some magical fix to the MMO genre. Even the producer came out
recently and said 500k subs is a win! Some people were saying 2-3million release and
labeling it the WoW killer.
GW2 is just one of those games. We hope it will bring new concepts to the genre, but
that is a wait and see for me.

How long am I planning to play Rift?
