Is this game the new "A Tale in the Dessert" type of a game?

    The company who made A Tale in the Dessert is supposed to be working on a new game based on the Alvin Maker series by Orson Scott Card.  Can't wait!

    I'd rather call Xsyon a blend of Tale in the Desert and Darkfall. :)

    I've played Atitd IV for 9 months, there are a lot of similarities but Xsyon is much more fun. The daily chore in Atitd was a pain, and thought Atitd is called sandbox its pretty linear.

    Like has been said before, this very similar to Wurm than to anything else.

    The similarities to ATITD are there but ATITD is slightly a different style of crafter/non-combat focused game than this. However, if you loved ATITD I don't see why you wouldn't also love this game.
