One thing i hope gets copied from DCUO

Much can be said about DCUO,

But one thing i really enjoyed in this game was how you could change the look of the gear on your character, so that every item skin you ever collected could be how you looked, regardless of what equipment you are wearing.

And that you could change the color as well was a bonus.

Sure hope other MMO developers catch up on this idea.

LOTRO, EQ2 and WAR all have appearance slots seperate from normal stat gear.

I too hope it becomes more common though.

If I'm not mistaken Aion has a similar mechanic. You can make all your raid gear look like any previously bound item but the process is more involved.

    There is NO miracle patch.

95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.

    Hope is not a stategy.

Yeah its definantly not new, Aion did have it but not until later levels.

DCUO had some good ideas of their own but I think they were executed poorly.

IMO DCUO should have given a ton more options at the character customization, even at end game when you have most of the armor you will ever get (aside from Iconic Suits) the costumes dont look as good as what you can start with on City of Heroes, not to mention things like the fact you cant change your heighth and width besides the 3 pre-set load outs. DCUO CC is a joke compared to Aion, Champions Online, City of Heroes, but hey it competes with Dragon Age's CC (which was very limited as well)
