New Guild Wars Player

in Guild Wars

 Hey guys, I have been trying to decide what to play to keep me busy until Guild Wars 2. I never picked up Guild Wars because of lack of a persistant world, but I am thinking it may be worth it to play through for lore and for the Guild Wars 2 carry overs. Anybody else going to be either starting over or have a guild that may have room for a new player?

    Welcome to the game.

    I recommend going over to Guildwarsguru.com

    Yes that site has a lot of whining going on (like most fan sites I think) but there are some forums for new players. That's probably your best bet to find a guild or some other players to help outside of the game.
