The game's Taiwanese, not Japanese. And that doesn't just look "a lot" like Ragnarok. It looks EXACTLY like Ragnarok.(I mean the graphics). My guess is that the company purchased the Ragnarok game engine and made some custom contents.
actually nope. Gravity and AEGIS had a partnership. For whatever reason, the two broke-up. The AEGIS team now freely distributes their engine that was created for Ragnarok Online. Aglaia might have bought rights to use it for it's own.
Thus, Aglaia is a unique game as RO is. Aglaia isn't a "clone" of RO as everybody thinks it is.
