Should i try again?

I played during beta it was so laggy and the graphics were not up to par. The graphics did not bother me as much as the lag it was so annoying. So my question is should i give the game another chance and here are some other questions....

Can you build houses and structures???

Are there guilds recruiting or am i destined to be a loner ???

Is the lag still insane.. and i mean INSANE not the casual lag spike

    The serverside lag is pretty much gone, but if your computer can't take the heat, you're out of luck.

    guilds are definately recruiting.  I'd give DF another shot, they really lowered the grind.

    Jump on in, game is really finally getting to where it ought to have been at launch.
