2) Aion - 14,017 / not a very good showing for #2
3) LOTR - 10,447 / I wanted to like this ... I really did.
4) Eve Online - 9,859 / ZZzzzzzZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzZzzz
5) Silkroad Online - 9,534 / whatever
6) Guild Wars - 8,641 / Loved it, but its model is dated and lacks replay. GW2 is so far away.. meh.
7) MapleStory - 5,311 / no thanks
8) Diablo 2 ......really diablo? really?
9) Dragon Age origions ... ok i can understand diablo... but DA has lowish replay value.
10) Runes of Magic - item shop, wow clone... just play wow if you're that desperate sheesh.
Anyway I was just siting around wondering why I havn't played a major MMO in over a year. Then i looked at a random top 10 weekly list and found my reminder.
I would ask for suggestions but ...cmon who am I kiding.

I mean, not the numbers aren't incredible (they are, they really are), but where did those numbers come from?
Beyond that, if the average gamer plays 15 hours a week... what does that say about the game populations?
Are you saying you feel fun is less important than game popularity?

I'm not sure I fully undertstand what this list is? The number of play hours the game soaks up in a week? Because I know that at least EVE and WoW are much higher than that...
per day would be my guess, plus it's xfire so who knows. It wasnt suposed to be some definative list just a sampling of the shit people are playing this week..
So incredible dumb, do you really need more than 1000 players in a game ? No. Ranking it and only counting the most played games on xfire or whatever, jeeeezes how silly can one be?! The list is pretty abysmal for tv shows too, still there are plenty of quality shows around.
