Alright, here's the data we have so far. Of course, one player is purely powerleveling while another is doing crafting, collection gathering and exploring while yet another again is only doing rifts, warfronts and socialising.
But the figures show what all kinds of active players make for levels while doing their own thing, playing and enjoying the game each in their own way.

Credits to Fiontar, only when reading the whole thread I noticed he's consistently posting his progress while leveling, giving 1 good estimation of how long it takes him to gain 1-2 levels while playing
Whenever you get the chance, feel free to use the /played command ingame (use it in the chatbox) to retrieve your played hours, then post it here with your class and level and hours played time.

Successful warfront runs give experience, unsuccessful not so much. I'd say that for a non premade team you'll get more experience out of an instance, given how steady the exp gain is.
Bottom line, the warfronts give exp, but I wouldn't rely on them to exp exclusively. Everything adds up of course in the end.

About 100 hours. Level 36 Guardian Warrior. I'm sure you can level much quicker but I have been really into exploring the game world, earning achievements, crafting, and collecting artifacts. I have 36 complete sets now.
I have no idea how other game worlds compare to Telara in terms of square metres but when compared to Azeroth there is so much more going on in Rift, so to me it feels larger actually. There are also a lot of hidden easter eggs which I love.
If I do roll an alt at some stage it will be a Defiant on a different server. So much variety within the Warrior class I don't feel like trying anything else just yet.

It's been a few days, a lot of gamers will be in their L30s and L40s.
So, what's new? Show us your level and /played hours (and class)
edit: /played is a command that you can enter in the chat box, which will show you the number of hours that you've been playing with that character. Just thought to bring it up for enlightenment.

Ive been playing since the 2nd of march and I'm level 27. I am enjoying myself very much. I am not in a rush and am doing crafting and am only playing like 15 hours a week.

41 hours since headstart, lvl 29
Played since Headstat began
Have a 27 mage and a 21 Cleric. I'm in no hurry to get to 50.
Spent probably over 10 hours in a queue (its better since live but i still occasionally get a queue)
I did all of the betas.
But just bought the game this Sat with my wife. Played about 7-8 hours and i have:
lvl 7 Warrior
lvl 10 Cleric
lvl 13 Mage
122.5 hours to reach level 50 myself.
Mostly through questing, instances and rifts if they were near my vicinity (was not hunting for them).
Time is clean, no afk counting as /played time. I was logging to character screen to avoid returning to a corpse (I play on a PvP server).
Class: Cleric (druid-mainly for soloing and all variations fo healing souls for healing).
My crafting is roughly 200+ (apothecary), my collection at 270+ (butcher, foraging). Max is 300.
Nice one I'll add it to the list.

Can you level through PvP and if so, is it viable at all?

29 rogue - 1 day 17 hours played time.
I've done questing, dungeons, rifts, and some harvesting and questing. Haven't done any PvP.

Remember Old School Ultima Online
I've played about 100 hours between 4 characters, highest lvl is 34 and the rest are 10 or below.
