WoW Community?

I play the game. All I ever hear are people complaining about the community, saying Diablo this and Warcraft Battle Net that, but from my personal experience I haven't had a single problem. I also played both of these other Blizzard games and I know how bad their communties were. WoW is different. The community is no worse than when I played on DAoC. This game is different from other MMORPGs, thus will bring in a different group of people. In WoW you dont see anyone really RPing on a normal server and most people are just normal people, nothing nerdy but nothing immature. Sure you get those idiots who run around acting like a jackass but what MMORPG doesn't have it. So im stating to those who will want to ever play the game that the community isn't as hellish as it seems. I've made many friends and haven't met one jackass, well one who thought he was the "poop" with his 47 Rogue, haha too bad everyone jumped on him for being such an idiot. People are respectful and nice, and maybe aren't a master at the MMORPG genre, they are nice and pleasent. I think that's why this game gets such a bad rep, that many people are "newbies" to the whole genre and are using it as an opener. So why not help them out, give them tips and advice, do the right thing. Complaining about a community won't do a damn thing, but going out and being a good person, help others out, and just be pleasent, and maybe things will change. Who knows?

I find the community in WoW friendly, I 2 have never had any problems with anyone.

I have seen people argue but thats just normal.

In everyday life, you'll find some relatively nice people, but on the other side of the spectrum, you'll see many idiots. Just today, I had some random dude come up to me and send me a duel message, and sent it over and over again, and then followed me for like 5mins. left after that though. On the other hand, I've met many nice people throughout the game. Life is diverse.

Anyone who isn't happy with the community could just join a guild, those are made to improve interactions. If you associate mainly with guildmates, you will always have fun and support.

Yup, overall i think the community is just like any other game.  At least once every two days i usually see some form of bad community, but thats not something to make you quit a game.

My worst experience of the b-net "kiddie" was i had to go in and pick up an item out of an enemy camp, and there where 2 people who had cleared it already.  So i ran in and looted the item and got a whisper from one of the guys saying "OMFG you #%$# your so @#@%# #%# we didnt clear that $#% camp for your #$#@ ; #$@, we cleared it for us you #$@#$"..... did i do something wrong...was i purposely supposed to let every single mob spawn so i could go in and clear the camp when it was already clear?  I know i dont mind if somebody comes along right after ive cleared something and they have an easy time, more props to them for coming at the right time

Wait 2 months, then the people playing the 30 day free time is gone, the p0wa grinders is gone, many kids have gone tierd og the game.
Then the community gets better! (I hope )

Agreed but just one thing use paragraphs pretty please.

I really thought the community was going to be horribel, but I am suprised. I have found almost everyone to be helpful and mosltly polite.

There was this one idiot that waited for me to clear a cave and ran in and stole the chest while i was finishing off the last monster. Other than that guy (Domer on Alleria) I have enjoyed the community.
